ELLEN : Tell Your Fans About Sarah's Dream

Sarah's Dream : Ellen . . .  Your Fans Will Love This Cause
Ellen, good to see you again, you look great! We see you've met our friend Sarah, she's a love isn't she? A ray of sunshine that one.

So here's the deal:

Sarah, a vibrant soul. Married her high school sweetheart named Benjamin Robinson.
How Cute Are These High School Sweethearts? Seriously Cute, That's How
Together they had a lil' one named Morgan Lindsay. She just began first grade and is a burst of love and sweetness. She's also a super star who kept her mom smiling when smiling became a struggle.
Mother & Daughter Sweetness
In March of 2010, Sarah was missing some beats while drumming for her band, "Under The Covers." Physicians soon discovered Sarah had a brain tumor. Ben was serving this country in Iraq and was granted leave so he could rush home to support Sarah and help care for their lil' one.
A Real American Hero
When Sarah began radiation therapy she would hear stories of folks who were unable to obtain treatment because they lived "up north" and had no where to stay. Sarah brought this attention to her local Rotary club, and together they were a driving force behind the plan to create a cancer hospitality house. Seeing this become a reality was one of Sarah's dreams . . . "Sarah's House.

After enduring chemotherapy treatments good news abound in July of 2011. Sarah kicked cancer in the face!! Don't let the door hit you on the way out tumor. BOOM!!!
This Is What Kicking Cancer In The Face Looks Like
Five weeks later, Sarah learned the cancer had returned, it was angry, and this time it was deemed "inoperable." Which, clearly cancer underestimated who it is messing with here, since like we agreed, ray of sunshine.
Oh Ellen, You So Pretty
Sarah was an avid fan of The Ellen Degeneres Show (and all things Ellen DeGeneres in general). When it physically became a challenge to hold a book, her family downloaded the audio version of Seriously . . . I'm Kidding, which would give Sarah a good chuckle on a difficult afternoon. While watching an episode of your program Sarah turned to her identical twin sister Lindsay, and said "Ellen would help us promote 'Sarah's House' . . . Ellen would help us!!"

Double Dosage Of Sunshine
Morgan lost her mumma on December 4th 2011.
Ben said goodbye to his first love, and Lindsay said goodnight to the best friend she'd ever had.

Countless friends, family, and community members grieve the loss of such a vivacious, caring, joyous and giving soul. Communities are fighting to see "Sarah's House" come to light to help the very people who entered Sarah's heart when she received her diagnosis in 2010. We continue this fight for Sarah, and we ask that you help us make this dream come true . . . not only for Sarah's memory, but for the growing number of Mainers who have no where to call home when they need lifesaving treatment.

She means more than everything to her husband, daughter, twin sister and the rest of her family and they to her also. I feel truly blessed to know such a wonderful woman!
